1. Definitions

  • "Client" refers to any individual receiving consultation services

  • "Services" refers to video consultation and advisory services regarding physician postgraduate training in the United States

  • "Session" refers to any scheduled video consultation between Matchpersonalstatement.com and Client

2. Nature of Services

2.1. The Service Provider offers professional consulting services related to physician postgraduate training programs in the United States, including but not limited to:

  • Residency application guidance

2.2. Services are provided via video consultation platforms for informational and advisory purposes only.

3. Disclaimer of Medical Advice and Third Party Services

3.1. The Services provided are strictly educational and consultative in nature. No medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations are provided through these Services.

3.2. Consultations are focused solely on medical education and career guidance matters.

3.3. Unfortunately, we do not recommend third-party services for clinical experience, research experience, or help with the ERAS application or NRMP Match

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1. Clients must:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Maintain a stable internet connection suitable for video consultations

  • Attend scheduled sessions punctually

  • Notify of cancellations at least 48 hours in advance

  • Maintain professional conduct during consultations

  • Not record consultation sessions

4.2. Clients are responsible for ensuring their technology meets minimum requirements for video consultations.

5. Scheduling and Cancellation

5.1. Sessions must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.

5.2. Cancellations:

  • Full refund for cancellations a week before the scheduled session

  • Partial refund for cancellations 48 hours before the scheduled session

6. Payment Terms

6.1. Payment is required in full at the time of booking.

6.2. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and Apple Pay.

6.3. All fees are non-refundable except as specified in the cancellation policy.

7. Confidentiality

7.1. The Service Provider will maintain the confidentiality of all Client information in accordance with applicable laws.

7.2. Clients agree not to record, share, or distribute consultation sessions without written permission.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All materials, resources, and content provided during consultations remain the intellectual property of the Service Provider.

8.2. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. The Service Provider's liability is limited to the amount paid for Services.

9.2. The Service Provider is not liable for:

  • Technical difficulties or connection issues

  • Outcomes of residency or fellowship applications

  • Career decisions made by Clients

  • Third-party actions or decisions

10. Data Protection

10.1. Client data is collected and processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

10.2. Video consultations are conducted through HIPAA-compliant platforms.

11. Modifications

11.1. These terms and conditions may be modified with 30 days' notice to Clients.

11.2. Continued use of Services after modification constitutes acceptance of new terms.

12. Governing Law

12.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kentucky, United States.

12.2. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kentucky, United States.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  • "Client" refers to any individual submitting content for editing

  • "Services" refers to editing, proofreading, and feedback on personal statements

  • "Content" refers to any written material submitted by the Client for editing

  • "Deliverables" refers to edited documents and feedback provided to the Client

2. Nature of Services

2.1. The Service Provider offers professional editing services including:

  • Grammar and spelling correction

  • Style and flow improvement

  • Content organization

  • Feedback on structure and clarity

  • Suggestions for improvement

2.2. Services do not include:

  • Writing personal statements from scratch

  • Fabricating or embellishing experiences

  • Providing false or misleading content

  • Guaranteeing admission to any program

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1. The Client warrants that:

  • All submitted content is their original work

  • Information provided is truthful and accurate

  • They have the right to submit the content for editing

  • Content does not violate any third-party rights

3.2. The Client must:

  • Provide clear instructions and requirements

  • Respond to editor queries in a timely manner

  • Meet agreed-upon deadlines for revisions

  • Review edited content thoroughly

4. Service Provider Responsibilities

4.1. The Service Provider will:

  • Maintain confidentiality of all Client content

  • Meet agreed-upon deadlines

  • Provide professional editing services

  • Communicate clearly about revision processes

  • Maintain original meaning and voice of the content

4.2. Quality Assurance:

  • Multiple rounds of editing as specified in the service package

  • Standardized editing processes

  • Professional editor qualification requirements

  • Quality control reviews

5. Turnaround Time and Deadlines

5.1. Standard turnaround times:

  • Initial edit: 5 business days

  • Revision rounds: 3 business days each

6. Payment Terms

6.1. Pricing and Payment:

  • Full payment required before service begins

  • Additional fees for extra revisions

  • All fees are non-refundable once editing begins

7. Refund Policy

7.1. Refunds available only if:

  • Service Provider fails to deliver within agreed timeline

  • Service Provider cannot complete the work

  • Client cancels before editing begins

7.2. No refunds for:

  • Dissatisfaction with editing suggestions

  • Change of mind after editing begins

  • Missed deadlines due to Client delays

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. The Client retains all rights to:

  • Original content

  • Edited content

  • Personal experiences and information

8.2. The Service Provider:

  • Claims no ownership of Client content

  • Maintains confidentiality of all materials

  • Will not use Client content for any other purpose

  • Will delete Client content after service completion

9. Confidentiality

9.1. The Service Provider will:

  • Keep all Client information confidential

  • Not share personal statements with third parties

  • Maintain secure storage of documents

  • Delete files within 30 days of service completion

  • Sign NDAs upon request

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. The Service Provider is not liable for:

·       Outcomes of residency or fellowship applications

  • Accuracy of Client-provided information

  • Third-party application requirements

  • Technical difficulties in file transfer

  • Outcomes of using edited content

10.2. Maximum liability limited to service fee paid

11. Termination

11.1. The Service Provider may terminate services if:

  • Client violates these terms

  • Client requests unethical changes

  • Client is unresponsive for over 7 days

  • Payment is not received or is reversed

12. Modifications

12.1. These terms may be modified with notice to Clients 12.2. Changes apply to future services only

13. Governing Law

13.1. These terms are governed by the laws of Kentucky, United States 13.2. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kentucky.

14. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect.
